Traditional Wedding Photos Online

Introduction

After the bride and groom have had a chance to relax and catch up with their wedding guests, it's time for the dreaded group shots! Formal photos have become an established part of the wedding day, which I find quite amusing as most people don't seem to enjoy them.

The key to successful and enjoyable group photos is to limit the number of photos to around six. This should be enough to get everyone covered, but not too many that they take too long and people get bored.

My philosophy is that it's your wedding day, not a photo shoot!

	1. Bride & Groom with both sets of parents. Wherever possible I don't include the sky in group photos as it can make exposing the scene difficult.
	2. Bride & Groom with Groom's family. Green foliage always provides a nice background.
	3. Bride & Groom with Bride's family. There wasn't much outdoor space at this hotel, so everyone huddled together underneath a canopy leading to the marquee. I think this gives a nice, intimate feel though.
	4. Bride & Groom with Bridesmaids. It was so windy outside we had to do the group photos inside the church with flash.
	5. Groom with Best Man and Ushers.
	6. Bride & Groom with friends.
	7. Bride & Groom with all guests. This kind of photo can only really be achieved from a high viewpoint. I took this from one of the hotel rooms.
	8. There are still opportunities for taking reportage photos in between the group photos. You might find you like these more than the posed photos!
