Andrew Gardner - Boutique Wedding PhotographerYou might be thinking 'what is a boutique wedding photographer?' Well, my definition is this: an artisan who uses his talent, skill and experience to produce bespoke products exclusively for individual clients. He provides upper mid-range wedding photography for clients that appreciate the value of quality photographs. You may find you're given less freedom of choice than conventional photographers. Appointing a boutique wedding photographer is like commissioning a painter for a family portrait. You won't know quite what the finished piece will look like, but because of the painter's portfolio and the relationship you've developed with him, you trust him to create a piece of art that you'll love. These are the principles behind my wedding photography. Read on to find out how I work.
We'll spend this time getting to know each other, talking about your wedding and looking at some albums.
If you feel happy to proceed and I feel we would have a good relationship together, we can go through my wedding contract there and then. Your date is booked only on signing of the wedding contract and payment of a £425 retainer. The remaining balance is due over ten equal monthly payments, beginning on the following month. If your wedding is sooner than ten months from the time of booking, the balance will be spread over equal monthly payments accordingly. Your wedding date is pencilled for 7 days after the consultation for if you'd like more time to consider your decision. After that however, it becomes available to anyone. Once you have booked, you then choose the cover material and page style of your bespoke album.
On your wedding day you may not actually see much of me! That's because I'm very good at staying in the background and not drawing too much attention to myself. This allows me to achieve the photojournalistic style you see in my gallery.
One father-of-the-bride commented that he didn't have very high expectations of my photographs, because he hardly ever saw me taking photos! He was very pleasantly surprised and impressed that his friends' and relatives' personalities shone through my images. More testimonials...After The Wedding As a boutique wedding photographer I do extensive post-production work on my final images. Not necessarily to correct them, but enhance them. You probably won't notice my alterations as they're quite subtle, but they make all the difference. If you can't wait to see your wedding photos, I can upload all the final images to my online gallery five days after your wedding, for you to view on honeymoon.
As a boutique wedding photographer, I pre-design your album using the images I feel best tell the story of your day. If that means going over what's included in your package, so be it.
My approach with the first draft of the album is to not hold back. I'll email you a copy of the layout, and if you want to scale it back a bit, that's fine. But I want you to feel a wow factor the first time you see you photos in an album layout. When the design is finalised, I'll send off the order, and it should take around four weeks to be made.

I don?t have a studio premises,
as I don't have a need for one. If you'd like a consultation meeting, we can meet in a nice bar or café somewhere in Essex.
When you get home, I'll visit your home with my laptop, digital projector and a bottle of Champagne, and we'll have an after-party!
This is a great way to see your wedding photos for the first time - projected onto a screen, with friends and family around you to re-live
the day!
