There's something so special about black and white. Colour can sometimes be so distracting, we can miss things in photos. Removing colour forces us concentrate on what's happening in the picture.

Like small details, or just studying someones facial expression for slightly longer than we would if it was in colour.

This was completely unposed. I told the couple to relax while I adjusted my camera settings, and this one of those 'test' photos! (Incidentally, their favourite!)

A lovely, simple shot. When you can't a subject's face, it makes you think more about what they're thinking and feeling.

I often say, if you provide the love, I can photograph it! My job is to record all the emotions at a wedding.
